I'm Ranger Kielak, owner of Within Range Coaching. I came up through agriculture, from 4-H and FFA to a degree in managerial economics at UC Davis to enforcing pesticide regulations for a county ag commissioner, and I brought that operator's habit of looking at real numbers into coaching.
I do two things.
Business coaching and consulting. I work one on one with owners on the stuff that decides whether a business makes it: what to charge, where the money actually goes, whether the offer is one people want, and what it takes to be ready when you need a bank or an SBA lender to say yes. I also advise small businesses through the Small Business Development Center and Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, and I teach workshops on marketing, offers, AI tools, and financing readiness.
Equine-assisted leadership. I run workshops where teams and leaders work with horses. Horses respond to what you're actually doing, not what you meant to do, so it surfaces communication and leadership habits faster than any conference room exercise.
