Membership is open to local business owners and professionals in the San Carlos area. SCBNG follows a one-per-category rule, so only one member may represent each business category at a time.

How do I apply to become a member?

To apply, fill out the interest form on this page or attend a meeting as a guest. The leadership team will review your application and confirm category availability before extending an invitation.

Is there a cost to join?

There are no formal dues or fees to join SCBNG. Instead, membership is based on consistent participation, referrals, and contributions to the success of the group.

When and where does SCBNG meet?

The group meets every other Monday from 8:15 to 9:30 AM. Meetings are held virtually via Zoom, with occasional in-person gatherings in San Carlos.

Tips to Get the Most Out of Your First Visit

✔️ Come ready with a quick 30-second introduction: your name, your business, and who you help.
✔️ If you’ve worked with or met anyone in the group before, feel free to share a quick thank you during the meeting.
✔️ You’ll hear two short presentations — one is a helpful tip, the other is a spotlight on a member's business.
✔️ Bring any events, announcements, or promos you'd like to share during the closing round.

A chance to chat, check tech, and warm up for the day — especially helpful on Zoom!

Introductions

We welcome everyone, introduce the leadership team, and get things started.

Roundtable Check-in

Everyone gets a moment to share their 30-second spiel and their “Win of the Week.” We encourage positive updates!

Activity Numbers

We share referral stats, one-on-ones, and closed business from the last meeting.

5-Minute Member Education

One member shares something they’ve learned — a helpful insight, tool, or business tip.

10-Minute Presentation

One member dives deeper into their business to teach the group how to refer them better.

Events & Announcements

We wrap up with upcoming events, shout-outs, and reminders.

What We Expect from Members

Our group works because we show up, participate, and support one another. If you join, here’s what that looks like:

How to Join

After you’ve visited twice and feel like SCBNG is a fit, the next step is to go through a simple approval process. This includes having one-on-one conversations with three members of our membership committee. After that, if there’s a mutual fit — welcome aboard!
